Olitrap Blast

RÁFAGA OLITRAP is an insecticide trap formulated with deltamethrin 0.015% w/w (0.015 g per trap), prepared to attract the olive fruit fly (Bactrocera oleae) into the trap, where it kills the insect. It is presented as a ready-to-use bait and is designed for the capture of adult (male and female) olive fruit flies. The system consists of a trap, a lid impregnated with deltamethrin (contact insecticide) and a solid attractant specific for Bactrocera oleae, with high persistence. In addition to control, the design allows visualization of catches and monitoring of the population in the plot.

Mode of use (according to information provided)

• Place on the tree at head height, on the south side and in a leafless area.
• Place the trap at a distance of approximately 1-1.5 m from the trunk.
• Place 1 trap per tree.
• Install 3 months before harvest and before the onset of fly activity (before color change).
